The presentation of Tlumach and Tlumach region
Bogdana Hutsuliak
Tlumach, a town in Lviv region, got Magdeburg rights in 1448. In 1511, a King gave Tlumach a right of annual and weekly fairs. Tlumach (former Tovmach) was also famous for its Female Union. Modern Tlumach is a small town with most relics of the past destroyed in Soviet times. Yet it has bright future and ambitious aspirations.
